    Hello,

I am doing some research of the Barnard’s and trying to get to know cousin’s and other relatives.

I have found that my family has grown a lot since Grandpa Francis had come over in 1639, have you been able to find them also or are you one of them also?

    John

Hi Jordan Barnard, pleased to meet you! The best way to start is with the names of your parents and grandparents, as far back as you know. If you know where they lived in the early 1900s, you may be able to find them in census information online, marriage and birth registries, and so on. When you find them listed as children, you can find the parents’ names, and then work one more generation back.

I am living in the Los Angeles area. My parents were from Minnesota. My dad from Duluth. I have, thanks to my mom, the tree going back to Francis of Hadley and Deerfield. Lets keep in touch.

Hi. I was just looking on your website and found my grandparents, Markham Johnston, Sr. and Gladys Roberta Riegg. I would like to update your information, if I may. Markham & Gladys had three children; Markham Jr., Eleanor, and as your site posted, Warren. Markham Jr died October 29, 2005 and I believe Eleanor died in 2006 or 2007. I am Markham Jr’s biological daughter.

Hi, I am the son of Edward Wilson Blanton & Mary Lucretia FitzHugh. They divoced when I was 1yr old or younger? My mother remarried to Alvin Mallory Tennant. He always told everyone that I was his son hence my last name is
tennant but I was born a “Blanton” If we have a connection I would be glad to hear from you. I have a source to the Virginia FitzHugh’s that goes back to about 1629 in Beford England. I will be glad to share with you any thing I know about the family. I have been in contact with an Ed Barnard in minn. Thanks.

I have recently found that I have Barnard ancesters. I have spent the last 5 months doing the research that has led me to issues I see discussed here. I have seen most of these sources.
I have a question. I haven’t seen activity on this site since last year at this time. Is it still viable?
