Dear Barnards,
I saw your website while looking for online information on the Barnards of Deerfield, Mass. Then I saw your posting about your family connection to Queen Victoria. It's actually quite simple to prove your connection to her. If you have an ancestry.com account, you click on the "home person" and under further options, you can select "relate to famous people." If you have any trouble, just email me. By the way, my connection to Victoria is that she loved to vacation at the Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. Osborne is named after my Osborne ancestry from England. Cheers, Damien

Jordon,

Great Site!

I found you while searching for Nathaniel Pinney III/Elizabeth Carrier.

I was wondering how you put TNG under a tab on your wordpress site. It appears that the entire TNG system is running _under_ Wordpress, and uses the WP theme as the wrapper.

How the heck did you do that?

Hopeful,
Jerry Milo Johnson

I have been doing some research, and Albert Grove Barnard was married to one of my relatives, Freelove Bingham. Both are buried in Mound Hill Cemetery in Medina County Ohio. Unfortunately, whoever listed them posted Albert's last name as Bingham (that was Freelove's maiden name), and their daughter Jennie E. is also buried there but listed as Bingham also.. I am thinking they must be buried in the Bingham plot. You can find a limited amount of info on them by searching findagrave.com. I have lots of Bingham info. Thanks, Brenda

Hi Jordan Barnard, pleased to meet you! The best way to start is with the names of your parents and grandparents, as far back as you know. If you know where they lived in the early 1900s, you may be able to find them in census information online, marriage and birth registries, and so on. When you find them listed as children, you can find the parents' names, and then work one more generation back.
