I received a family Bible record "Grinnel Genealogy" dated 1887, from my Uncle Ron Dierlam in December 2005. It came from his mother's materials, and no doubt came down through the Smith/Lawrence side of the family. I have no idea who actually wrote it in 1887.

The Grinnel Genealogy document is also interesting in that there is writing on top of writing. The front side is dated February 1887, but the back side overwrites something dated April 1887. There are Lawrence family names crossed out and overwritten as well.

Here is the transcription, as best I can make out the handwriting:
