Clarissa, wife of Preston Thayer of Webster died of pneumonia at her home near Union Hill, Sunday morning, April 3rd, 1887. Diseased was stricken down suddenly and was sick but a few days. She was 65 years of age and a woman of many virtues, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. She leaves a husband, one daughter and three sons.

The funeral services will be held at the house to-day, Tuesday, at 2 o'clock.
