The Wijlach family bears in the silver shield, a red fess crossing it diagonally from right top to the left base. In each part of the shield, separated in such a way, are three red geese in the top part, as well as in the bottom part. On the helmet are two elephants' trunks having stripes alternating in silver and red. The covering of the helmet is in red and silver. They owned the manor house of Wijlach near Bockum situated in the Cologne Administrative District of Linn, the ruins of which are still existing. The estates, however, have passed to middle-class people. ^6,180
