Have not been able to find Allen on the 1870 census (Lousianna) with his family. ¹¹⁶

Tradition holds that Cornelia was a full blood Cherokee Indian. Attempts to find information on her have been unproductive. Cornelia Norris is listed as mother on Albert's death certificate as reported by Jodie Jones her son.

It is not known where Cornelia is buried but we suspect it was Navarro County as my father-in-law, the oldest son of Allen J. and Cornelia said that he was working on family farm till 1917 when he joined the US Navy and got out in 1920. He told us that his mother's name was Cornelia Lee and that is the name that was used on her and Allen's marriage certificate which we have a copy of from the Family Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Have not been able to find Cornelia Lee and her family on the 1880 TX census. ¹¹⁶ ¹⁷⁶ ¹⁷⁷
