John Perkins, son of Rees and Elizabeth Colson was born Sept 19, 1753, Prince Frederick Parish, SC, bapt (Par. Register P 36). He died Feb. 20, 1776. Since he went to Washington, LA with his brother-in-law John Warren, we assume that he died there. ¹¹⁷
