Rees was born 1729 Prince Frederick Parish, S C and died between May and Sept 1767.Rees was baptized "adult" by Rev. James Borner, Oct 22, 1761, Pr. Fred Par. Rees Married about 1749 to Elizabeth Colson. After Rees' death she married
Robert Springer (abt. 1768) Misc. B NN, pp 431, Charleston Probate Court.
Rees' will mentions that he has seven children. The will names his wife, Elizabeth, and his sons David, James, Samuel, and Lewis Perkins. The baptismal records give the names of his daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah and his son John Perkins.
